As if things couldn't get any worse, our A/C unit died last night. It's been one helluva hot day today. So now we have to spend almost $5,000 for a new unit. That depletes one savings account and maxed out a credit card. When it rains it pours, but this past 6 weeks has been a downright flood. Looks like it's going to be tight the rest of the year around here. Amazing how far behind you can get just from an illness. I guess I'll just have to keep focused on the light at the end of the tunnel to get me thru!
