Thanksgiving

:-) Today is Thanksgiving. I made the traditional everything, even though it was just the 4 of us. Chris went to Cathie's and to his Dad's house. The girls stayed here and are now on their way to Grandma's. I have to work tommorrow and there is no school. They get more time off than I do!!

Included in this entry are pictures of my nephew, Ryan Anthony Bender during his first Thanksgiving and Christmas in New York.

General Chit Chat

Today the digital cable gets installed. Also, I will finally be rid of a dial up modem and moved into this century with a cable hookup! Wow...imagine being able to talk on the phone and surf the net at the SAME time...woo hoo!
On another note, I'm worried about Cathie. She went to the doctor because of all the bad headaches she's been having. They say there's something there, but she hasn't said what it is. She is going to another doctor to find out if it can be taken care of with medication. I sure hope so cause that stuff makes me nervous after what happened to my mother.
Mike went in for his second oral surgery yesterday. Apparently, his top teeth were lower than they should be and had to be fixed. He said he'd rather get it over with now than wait until later...well..it had to be anyway while the bone is still soft. Jen thinks he should have gotten a second opinion on whether it should be done or not, but he chose to do it the way he wanted. Hopefully, it will all turn out great.

Halloween

Had a nice Halloween. Annie set up a nice display table in the garage for me while i was at work. I finished up when I got home. Chris, Sammie, Amber, Annie, Lois and Dominique , her daughter, all went out while I stayed home and manned to fort. Our street is slow in comparison to the ones behind us..but that's ok. Sean and Laney showed up later at night and we all hung out and talked a while. They and Annie are still sleeping. I'm going to get some cleaning done. I have a pot roast in the slow cooker
so I won't have to worry about it later. The joys of motherhood!
