it's getting closer to the time I am going to NY. I cannot wait. This will also be the longest time I've been away from my children, which feels a little weird, but I am looking forward to some time to myself. I'm sure I will call them everyday! Hahaha!
It's funny how, as a mother, you really want to take a vacation alone, but yet you still feel a pang of guilt. My kids have been pretty gracious so far. They know that they will go on the next trip to NY and we'll most likely drive and spend more time there. So knowing that helps them deal with it better. Plus, if they're behavior gets better, we will take them somewhere nice. I'd like to go to Six Flags Over Georgia @ Cedar Point. Nice amusement park with an awesome roller coaster which Dan will enjoy! We'll see how it goes.
