Very sore today for some reason. My back and neck muscles feel like someone beat me up! When I feel like this, it doesn't make me really want to do much of anything else. UGH!
Well, Amber is going to be in a cast for 4 weeks. We saw the orthopedic doc today and he said although her bone wasn't broken or fractured, she injured the growth plate on the right side of her right foot. So to keep it immobile for a while...this is what they chose. She has a walking boot with it, so no crutches. She chose a stars and stripes design since it is close to Independence Day...cute! Some start to the summer!

Well, thank you for asking! She has long since healed and is doing nicely. At least it wasn't broken. Some summer when you're in a cast for 1/2 of it and then you have to spend the other half at your grandmother's because your mom is ill! Poor kid. But she recovered nicely. Hope the results were the same for you.
